On February 6, 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the American Chamber of Commerce and the Small Hydropower Plants Association.

The Memorandum was signed on behalf of the Small Hydropower Plants Association by its President, Elvira Borombaeva. On behalf of the American Chamber of Commerce, the Memorandum was signed by the Executive Director, Aisuluu Sydygalieva.

During the discussions, the parties addressed current issues and prospects for the development of bilateral interaction between the associations. The necessity of maintaining regular contacts between the organizations, exchanging experiences and information, as well as participating in joint events and working meetings, was emphasized.
