The U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic represents the U.S. government and works on a wide range of bilateral and regional issues, such as trade, commerce, economic development, democracy and governance, humanitarian assistance, health promotion and disease control, counter-narcotics, and environmental protection.
The foundation of relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the United States – both our friendship and our capacity to work together as two great nations – ultimately rests on how well ordinary citizens on both sides understand each other. That is why the U.S. Government believes that the most important contribution we can make to a stronger relationship between two countries is to invest in expanding the knowledge and contacts among people in both countries.
