QSI International School in Bishkek

Non-Commercial

Quality Schools International (QSI), a non-profit organization, has operated as an international school in Bishkek since September 1994. The school offers high-quality education in the English language for preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and secondary students. Students come from the international business community, the local Kyrgyz community, and students from different Embassies.

QSI operates 37 international schools in Eastern and Southern Europe, Central Asia, Caucasus, Africa, South America, China, and Southeast Asia. The academic program uses a Performance-Based/Mastery Learning approach to education. This model ensures mastery of specific skills and knowledge involving individual and group instruction. The educational philosophy was founded upon the premise that:  1) All students can succeed, 2) Success breeds success, and 3) It is the responsibility of the school to provide the conditions for success.

Our Elementary and Secondary teachers are experienced and qualified, with years of overseas experience in their levels of training and education. Most of the core-content teachers are from the United States.

The curriculum includes literacy (reading, grammar, composition, keyboarding, and spelling), mathematics, cultural studies (history, geography, economics, etc.), science, computer literacy, art, music, library, and physical education as part of the regular program. QSI International School of Bishkek is a fully accredited school by the Middle States Association out of the United States.

Graduating students can choose a General, Academic, or Academic Diploma with Honors. Students may take AP (Advanced Placement) courses for the Academic Diploma with Honors. In 2021, QSIB was approved to offer the AP Capstone program, and students can choose between a certificate or diploma.
