Embassy of Hungary in the Kyrgyz Republic represents the interests of the Government of Hungary and deals with a variety of bilateral and regional issues, including cooperation in trade, economic development, cultural and humanitarian relations, and the strengthening of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Hungarian leadership attaches great importance to its participation in the activities of the Organization of Turkic States and close ties with the Central Asian region.

The Consular Service of the Embassy issues Schengen visas to Hungary and short-term visas to five other countries under the Visa Representation Agreement.
