Optima Bank OJSC and the Kyrgyz Professional Football League (KPFL) announced the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at the development and support of football in Kyrgyzstan. According to the agreement, the bank becomes an official partner of the Kyrgyz National League in the season of 2024 with the support of the Visa international payment system.

The Kyrgyz National League is the second most significant division in the system of football leagues in Kyrgyzstan. In the current season, it involves 15 teams divided into two groups.

From July 1, 2024, the league is held under the name “Optima Bank National League of the Kyrgyz Republic”. Throughout the year, players will receive “Best Player” awards from “Optima Bank” and Visa with the Bank’s flagship Visa Optima Gold card, highlighting the players’ successes and achievements throughout the championship.

Executive Director of the Kyrgyz Professional Football League Kanat Asenov expressed his gratitude to “Optima Bank” for the support and noted the importance of the partnership for the further development of football in Kyrgyzstan. “We are confident that joint efforts will lead to significant improvements in football infrastructure and increase interest in our sport,” he said.
