On the designation of national telecommunications operators of the Kyrgyz Republic
By Resolution, national telecommunications operators of the Kyrgyz Republic have been designated for the purpose of strengthening information sovereignty and ensuring the sustainable development of the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.
The following entities have been designated as national telecommunications operators:
- Limited Liability Company «Aknet»;
- Closed Joint-Stock Company «Alfa Telecom»;
- Open Joint-Stock Company «Kyrgyztelecom»;
- Limited Liability Company «Sky Mobile»;
- Limited Liability Company «ElCat».
The Resolution also approves the Procedure for the operation and interaction of national telecommunications operators with subjects of legal relations in the digital environment.
The Resolution shall enter into force seven days after the date of its official publication.
On the establishment of the policy rate by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic
By resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the policy rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is set at 12 percent per annum.
This resolution shall enter into force on February 24, 2026.
On approval of the list of types of documents subject to retention in original form after the creation of their digital duplicates
The Resolution approves the list of types of documents subject to retention in original form after the creation of their digital duplicates.
The approved list includes identity documents of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, military registration documents, certificates of state registration of civil status acts, and other documents.
The Resolution shall enter into force on February 7, 2026.
On the introduction of a temporary ban on the export from the Kyrgyz Republic of ferrous metal scrap and waste, as well as ferrous metal ingots for remelting (charge ingots)
The Resolution introduces a temporary ban for a period of six months on the export from the Kyrgyz Republic of ferrous metal scrap and waste, as well as ferrous metal ingots for remelting (charge ingots), classified under code 7204 of the EAEU Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity.
The ban shall take effect three days after the Resolution enters into force.
The Resolution shall enter into force fifteen days after the date of its official publication.
