The speaker is Mr. Timothy Sherwood, Chief Investment Officer of the US International Development Finance Corporation. The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is a development financial institution and an agency of the United States federal government. DFC’s financial capabilities are used to provide loans, loan guarantees, and direct equity investments. DFC invests in sectors such as energy, health, infrastructure and technology, with stated priorities of women’s empowerment, innovation, investment, and climate change.
