U.S. Undersecretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights, Uzra Zeya, met with AmCham representatives

On April 14, Uzra Zeya, U.S. Undersecretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights, one of America’s foremost advocates for human rights and freedom, met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss women’s empowerment and women’s rights.

Secretary engaged with women political leaders and business representatives to promote women’s empowerment both in the Kyrgyz Republic and around the world. During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to talk about their activities and share their projects and ideas.
