On February 21, a meeting of the Business Ombudsman in Kyrgyzstan, Robin Ord-Smith, was held with the members of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic. This event was the first meeting of the Business Ombudsman with representatives of the business community. Mr. Ord-Smith spoke about the activities of the institution of the Business Ombudsman, application procedures and regulations, and highlighted other issues for the protection of the interests of entrepreneurs.

For reference: The institution of the Business Ombudsman is a special body created to protect the rights of entrepreneurs in their legal claims against state and municipal bodies or organizations controlled thereby, that violate their rights.
