Within the business tour in the USA, the delegation met with Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade

On May 2, 2023, within the business tour in the USA, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States, Baktybek Amanbaev, met with AmCham business delegation.

During the meeting with the delegation, Baktybek Amanbaev talked about doing business and opening companies in the USA. The Ambassador highlighted the high economic potential of Kyrgyz Republic, with vast natural resources in all regions, and emphasized the need to establish practical work to attract American investments, primarily in the agriculture, mining, textile, hydro-energy, and IT sectors.

The meeting discussed issues on strengthening trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and the USA and attracting American investments into the country. The participants exchanged views on current issues of international cooperation and the necessity of increasing mutually beneficial relations in the trade and investment sectors.

On the same day, the AmCham delegates from Kyrgyzstan, along with delegates from Georgia and Uzbekistan, also met with Diane Farrell, Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade. In her welcome speech to the meeting participants, Diane Farrell noted that Eurasian countries are important trading partners for the USA, and the significant amount of American investments in their economies reflects the high level of relations and trust between the countries.
