The participant of the “AmCham Mentors Club” project Aliia Ergeshova, a graduate of the faculty “Architecture and Design” at Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transportation and Architecture, shared her impressions of the working with her mentor Mr. Jodar Saidilkhan and her achievements:

“I don’t look at the obstacles, I focus on the goal” with such a motto I applied for “AmCham Mentors Club” to become a mentee of Mr. Jodar Saidilkhan, one of the multilateral developers of Kyrgyzstan, and passed!

Last year I saw Jodar ‘s interview and got all fired up to work with him, since it was his team that built several international facilities in our country. Thanks to the “AmCham Mentors Club”, I am currently working as an assistant architectural engineer at the Integra Engineering Group. In the process, I was pleasantly surprised by how he cares about his employees. Despite his position, he is simple and interesting in communication.

My little insight: I thought that after graduation, a person has ambitious plans for further development, but in my case, it was the opposite. By gaining the knowledge and experience in various fields of architecture and design, I just got confused. There was a fear of getting hurt from my own ambitions, missing time and then regret. In such moments, there is a great need for mentors who can give the right direction and advice. For me, Mr. Jodar Saidilkhan became this mentor. His advice greatly influenced my decisions, which I made in six months and I can say that I have no regrets at all.

On that note, I want to thank Mr. Jodar Saidilkhan that he chose me as his mentee, despite his busy schedule, and always shared knowledge and experience!”
