On April 23, 2022, within the AmCham Mentors Club 3 project, a third training was held for mentees on the topic of Basic Rules of Financial Literacy.

The speaker of the training was Kristina Sarachakova, the co-founder of Orda Invest Properties. Previously, Kristina worked in HSBC international bank in Almaty for seven years. Today she teaches economics and business at Silk Road School.

Kristina told the participants how to competently manage personal funds and shared the basic rules of financial literacy, such as budget planning and tracking spending, diversifying risks, creating an “airbag,” finding sources of passive income.

In the second half of the training, the mentees had the opportunity to play the financial game “Cash Flow,” where they were able to test their financial strategy, thanks to the circumstances offered, see their income and expenses, learn how to see opportunities and negotiate with people.

This training is being implemented within the framework of the project “AmCham Mentors Club 3” by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
