A business breakfast was held with representatives of the leadership of the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic

On March 5, 2024, within the framework of strengthening and developing public-private dialogue, a Business Breakfast took place. The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the State Customs Service and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as representatives of member companies of the Chamber from various sectors of the economy such as logistics, auditing, insurance, banking, education, healthcare, and others.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss key issues related to the integration of digital technologies into the activities of customs and tax authorities. Participants actively exchanged opinions and suggestions on optimizing customs procedures, improving interaction between businesses and government agencies, as well as addressing issues related to the tax environment and its impact on business activity.

During the event, the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service, Almaz Saliev, shared key aspects of cooperation between businesses and customs authorities, readiness for dialogue, and collaboration to improve customs procedures. He expressed a commitment to enhancing customs procedures and creating favorable conditions for the development of trade and the economy of the Kyrgyzstan as a whole. Such active interaction between government agencies and business representatives contributes to improving the business environment and stimulating economic growth in the country.

Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, Adilet Dubanayev, highlighted key results of work aimed at simplifying and digitizing tax processes for businesses in the past and current years. He emphasized that the main goal for the current year for the State Tax Service is to create a seamless tax administration that operates smoothly, efficiently, and without unnecessary obstacles for taxpayers. Adilet Dubanayev also shared that IT specialists successfully completed 7000 tasks in 2023, with a focus on tasks aimed at supporting businesses and improving the quality of service for taxpayers.

Thanks to the active participation of all participants and constructive cooperation with the leadership of customs and tax services.
