Yesterday, January 27, the first in 2021 meeting of the AmCham Board of Directors was held.

Executive Director Aktilek Tungatarov shared the results of the work done, status of the current projects, and also presented plans for the development of the Chamber for 2021. The Director put forward a proposal to hold meetings of the Board of Directors every month, which was supported by the members of the Board.

New employees of the Political and Economic Section of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mary Harrington and KG Moore were introduced to the BOD members. Diplomatic missions and honorary consulates of eight states are Honorary members of the AmCham.

The American Chamber of Commerce will continue its work on protection of the rights of AmCham member companies, remaining an effective networking platform that brings together representatives of business in Kyrgyzstan, Government agencies and international business community.
