The Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce met with the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Lesslie Viguerie

On March 27, 2023, the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce met with Mr. Lesslie Viguerie, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors told the ambassador about the work of the Chamber and shared the main and forthcoming plans facing the Chamber.

Mr. Lesslie Viguerie, noted the special role of the American Chamber of Commerce in ensuring a favorable business environment in the Kyrgyz Republic, and also wished success in further work.

In addition, the parties discussed important issues regarding the activities of the Chamber in the Kyrgyz Republic, the prospects for bilateral cooperation, and the socio-economic development of the country as a whole.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further fruitful cooperation.

The U.S. chose a new Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic last November. Mr. Lesslie Viguerie has years of experience in the Foreign Service. Previously, he was Deputy Chief of Mission at U.S. Embassy Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and Minister Counselor for Political Affairs at U.S. Embassy New Delhi, India.
