On March 28, 2024, a series of training sessions took place as part of the “Academy for Women Entrepreneurs” (AWE) project, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce with the participation of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic. These events marked the conclusion of the AWE project.
At the “Crash-Test Business Ideas: How to Quickly and Inexpensively Determine if Your Idea Will Fail” training session, Valeriy Grishin, co-founder of DevCIT Acceleration, shared his valuable experience in entrepreneurship. The main aspects of implementing business ideas, the importance of market analysis, and various methodologies were also discussed. Various exercises were conducted during the training session to evaluate the potential of business ideas.
At the “Stress Management” training session, Cholpon Bekbolotova, a trainer from Aha.kg specializing in soft skills, discussed the importance of proper stress perception in life. Participants learned about various stress management techniques that can transform stress into positive changes in life. The advantages of stress and methods for its prevention were also discussed.
Later, a panel discussion with program mentors took place in a more lively and informal setting. Mentors representing various business sectors participated in the meeting: Asseta Krasnozhonova, Deputy Chairman and CОO of FINCA Bank; Aigerim Dzhumalieva – Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Regency Bishkek; and Ainura Dzhunushalieva, Head of Marketing Department at Asia Bank, founder of the digital marketing agency Sarafan. Mentors shared their personal and professional advice, principles of work-life balance, talked about their career paths, and answered many questions.
