On January 15, 2018, AmCham in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a presentation by Joe Dumoulin, Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Verint, on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence in Business” in the new office of Sky Mobile company (TM Beeline).

The presentation gathered around fifty participants from different industries including telecommunications, construction, banking, accounting and many more.

Mr. Dumoulin addressed the advantages and pitfalls of NLP and ML in a business environment and how to optimize the use of AI tools for business. He also stressed the importance of creating a useful AI group within a company, how to deploy AI, and how to manage to people that create and maintain the AI.

In the nearest future, AI will transform many different jobs. Executives and senior business leaders need to understand what AI can do for the company, begin developing AI strategy and make appropriate resource allocation decisions. As for the employees, ongoing education is needed to keep up-to-date with evolving AI technology.
