On February 5-6, 2022, a two-day training session was held on the topic “Effective mentoring” for mentees and mentors of the third round of the AmCham Mentors Club program.

The speaker of the training was Zaure Sydykova, a business coach and an expert on building effective communications and personal growth.

Zaure told the participants about the role and functions of the mentor and mentee, tools for building effective mentoring, and about monitoring and evaluation methods. During the training, mentors and mentees participated in teambuilding games and group discussions, which helped participants formulate goals and an effective joint work plan. At the end of the training, participants gained new knowledge about the importance of role and responsibility in achieving program results.

This training is being implemented within the framework of the project “AmCham Mentors Club 3” by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
