Holding an Iftar dinner for members and partners during the Holy Month of Ramadan has become AmCham Kyrgyz Republic’s good tradition. Last Friday, on May 25, 2018, over 60 fasting representatives of AmCham companies and the business community were invited to the Iftar dinner. It was organized in the restaurant of the new Hotel Bridges Bishkek/Отель “Бриджис” Бишкек.

Among the guests of honor were Kadyrberdiev Abibilla Ajy, the Head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SAMK), Kadyr Malikov, the Director of the independent analytical center “Religion, Law and Politics”, Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, the Chairman of the Board of the Spiritual Culture Development Fund “Yyman” and Eliana-Maryam Satarova, Editor-in-chief of the Islamic magazine “UMMA”.

The atmosphere of the evening was very warm, friendly and cozy. Guests shared their knowledge of Ramadan’s goals, current projects and events planned during Ramadan. At the end of the evening, Zarina Chekirbaeva, Executive Director of AmCham in the KR thanked the guests and congratulated them on the Holy Month of Ramadan.
