On December 6 2018, an annual meeting of members and partners of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the format of a gala dinner.
The evening was opened with a video message by the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg M. Pankratov, in which he noted the importance of a joint partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic throughout the year in promoting initiatives to improve the business environment in Kyrgyzstan and the importance of the contribution of the business community in promoting country’s economic growth. The US Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Donald Lu, highlighted the value of interaction in promoting business opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic and thanked AmCham for the work done with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the international business community to develop a more dynamic economic environment. Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of AmCham, Nazira Beishenalieva, focused on the big plans of the Chamber’s global partnership with partners around the world. Executive Director Zarina Chekirbaeva presented to the guests a special edition of AmCham’s glossy business magazine “Business Insight Special Edition”, as well as a video overview of the events and projects of the American Chamber in 2018.
The event was attended by over 180 guests, including heads of state bodies, heads of companies, heads of diplomatic missions, heads of business associations and special guests from neighboring countries. Among the distinguished guests was Ms. Anastasia Novikova, the Editor-In-Chief of Forbes Kazakhstan, which acted as the main media partner of the event together with Akchabar financial portal.

As part of the traditional charity lottery, valuable prizes were raffled.
