On February 7, 2020, AmCham banking and IT sector members held a business lunch with Ms. Melissa Hathaway, a leading expert in cyberspace and cybersecurity, a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, governments and international organizations in cybersecurity, risk management and technology assessment.

Ms. Hathaway is an internationally recognized leader in this field and advises national governments and international institutions such as the UN, NATO, the International Telecommunications Union and other key institutions.

The meeting discussed current issues of data protection, banking secrecy, new methods and tools of  information protection from the perspective of digitalization of processes in Kyrgyzstan.
