On March 31, 2023, a training on “Changes in the Tax Code (March 2023)” was held as part of the project Business promotion and entrepreneurship empowerment through dialogue” supported by the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the presentation, Gulnara Uskenbayeva, an expert in tax legislation, financial management, business process analysis, and financial accounting system implementation, characterized the main elements of taxation, including state and local taxes, special tax regimes, as well as provided a detailed explanation of the tax reform and the latest changes to the tax code adopted in March 2023 by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, and how these changes will affect enterprises and legal entities.

Gulnara Uskenbayeva has 15 years of experience in economic policy, monetary and credit, tax and budget policy, reforming state finances, development planning, and improving the investment climate in the Kyrgyz Republic.
