On April 30, 2020, the fourth meeting of the AmCham Working Group under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic was chaired by deputy minister B. Aliev. This time working group members met online.

The following issues were discussed: the possibility of exemption persons importing sports equipment into the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as entrepreneurs providing sports and finess services from VAT; regarding the change in the draft Tax Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic; about the possibility of opening trade representative office in countries that are interesting for Kyrgyz exporters; about the draft law on amendments to the Housing Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as other issues.

AmCham would like to express its appreciation to the working group’s members and to the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic for their contribution in improving the business environment of the Kyrgyz Republic as well as USAID for support in implementing this initiative.
