On October 3, 2022, a joint dinner of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce Nazira Beishenalieva with Mrs. Anna Bjerde, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia, who visited the Kyrgyz Republic from October 3 to 5, 2022. It was a joint lunch between the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), with participation of the private sector.

During the meeting, the problems of private sector development in the Kyrgyz Republic and ways to effectively solve them were discussed under the new Framework for Partnership with the Country (RPP), developed by the World Bank for 2024-2028 financial years.

*Anna Bjerde from Sweden has been the World Bank’s Vice President for Europe and Central Asia since May 1, 2020. In this position, she leads the strategic, analytical, operational work of the Bank and the exchange of knowledge in the region.
