On April 12, 2018, the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a business meeting with the representatives of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Investment Chamber in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main speakers were Mr. Lu Kang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Investment Chamber (KCTIC), Mr. Sun Li – Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of KCTIC, Mr. Zhang Hua – General Director of Petroleum Corporation and Asel Moldalieva, head of the KCTIC secretariat. During the meeting various topics were discussed in detail, including the visa issues, potential investment projects, as well as the protection of foreign investors’ rights in Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Sun Li, who serves as an arbitrator in the International Court of Arbitration in Chinjou, shared very interesting information about Court of Arbitration’s processes in China.

Participants learned about the opportunities for cooperation between local and Chinese businessmen and discussed the trade and economic relations between the two countries. AmCham team sincerely thanks the representatives of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Investment Chamber for the insightful meeting.
