On March 3, 2022, a meeting of the Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce on Construction and Real Estate Market Committee was held.

At the meeting, the participants discussed topical issues in the construction sector. Thus, during the meeting, the participants considered the initiative of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to which it is proposed to store the funds of equity holders in escrow accounts of state banks and transfer these funds to developers only after commissioning the construction facility. Following the meeting, the Committee members decided to form proposals and send it to the initiative for consideration.
