On September 20, 2023, within the framework of the “Academy for Women Entrepreneurs” (AWE) project, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic, women entrepreneurs participated in a financial literacy training session conducted by “FINCA Bank.”
The training session was led by Jyldyz Bazarkulova, a trainer from the Training and Development Department of “FINCA Bank.”
During the training, participants acquired valuable financial skills, including budget planning, savings, investment, cost-cutting techniques, as well as information on payment system security and effective personal finance management.
Various savings methods were also presented to the participants, along with details on how to open a deposit account and how regular savings, for instance, setting aside 10% of their monthly income, can lead to significant financial accumulation over time.
The aim of the training was to enhance the financial literacy of women entrepreneurs and potential businesswomen. Participants actively engaged in discussions, addressing financial challenges and exploring potential solutions.
The American Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to “FINCA Bank” for delivering a productive training session and for their support of women entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan.
