AmCham is pleased to introduce New Member — Export Control Center

We are pleased to introduce you AmCham new Member — the Export Control Center.

The Export Control Center (CEC), established in Bishkek in April 2005, is a non-governmental and non-profit organization.

The main goals of the Center are to contribute to the improvement and development of the national export control system, the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the context of regional and international security, research work aimed at the development of an effective export control system and the country’s integration into the world economy.

One of the main areas of work of the Center is the organization and conduct of international and national seminars, trainings, conferences, briefings in the field of export control and non-proliferation, as well as improving economic opportunities for government and commercial structures.

The Export Control Center is represented by high-level experts and works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz National University, the European Union, the International Scientific Technical Center (ISTC) and other departments, and international organizations involved in EC issues.
