On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning legal representation<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Law on amendments to certain legislative acts of\u00a0 the Kyrgyz Republic concerning legal representation has been adopted.<\/p>\n

A legal representative is defined as a person who provides qualified legal assistance to individuals and legal entities by representing their interests in judicial proceedings in accordance with the legislation governing legal representation.<\/p>\n

The Law establishes uniform requirements for persons engaged in representation before courts and provides mechanisms for state and professional regulation of such activities. It also provides for the establishment of a Register of Legal Representatives, sets requirements for their professional training, qualifications, and continuing professional development, and determines the procedure for obtaining, suspending, and terminating the status of a legal representative.<\/p>\n

The Law shall enter into force ten days after the date of its official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

On the adoption of the Merchant Shipping Code of the Kyrgyz Republic<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Merchant Shipping Code of the Kyrgyz Republic has been adopted.<\/p>\n

The Code regulates relations arising in the field of merchant shipping and is aimed at implementing the right of the Kyrgyz Republic, as a landlocked state, to access the high seas and enjoy freedom of navigation in accordance with generally recognized principles and norms of international law.<\/p>\n

The Code establishes the legal, economic, and organizational framework for merchant shipping in order to meet the needs of the economy for maritime transportation and related works and services.<\/p>\n

The Code shall enter into force six months after the date of its official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

On the establishment of the National Exhibition Complex \u00abEXPO Kyrgyzstan\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Decree on the establishment of the National Exhibition Complex \u00abEXPO Kyrgyzstan\u00bb has been adopted.<\/p>\n

The project is aimed at improving the investment climate, developing international economic cooperation, promoting the country\u2019s export potential, attracting investment, establishing modern exhibition and convention infrastructure, and integrating the Kyrgyz Republic into regional and global economic processes.<\/p>\n

The establishment of the National Exhibition Complex \u201cEXPO Kyrgyzstan\u201d within the territory of the city of Bishkek and the Chuy Region has been designated as a strategic state priority.<\/p>\n

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed to establish an interagency expert working group to coordinate the activities of state authorities and local self-government bodies in implementing the project.<\/p>\n

The Decree shall enter into force ten days after the date of its official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

On the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of oil and petroleum products from the Kyrgyz Republic<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Resolution on the extension of the temporary ban on the export of oil and petroleum products from the Kyrgyz Republic has been adopted.<\/p>\n

The temporary ban on the export of crude oil and petroleum products by road and rail remains in effect until the domestic market is sufficiently supplied or common markets for oil and petroleum products are established within the Eurasian Economic Union.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the export of naphtha, fuel oil, and heating oil is permitted, provided that such products are subsequently re-imported into the Kyrgyz Republic after processing, based on a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.<\/p>\n

The Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

A Resolution expanding the list of exceptions to the moratorium on inspections of business entities has been adopted.<\/p>\n

The list of regulatory authorities exempt from the moratorium has been expanded to include the authorized body responsible for sanitary and epidemiological welfare.<\/p>\n

The exception applies exclusively to monitoring compliance with food safety legislation.<\/p>\n

A Resolution introducing a temporary ban on the export from the Kyrgyz Republic of ferrous metal scrap and waste and ferrous metal ingots for remelting (charge ingots) has been adopted.<\/p>\n

A temporary six-month ban has been imposed on the export from the Kyrgyz Republic of ferrous metal scrap and waste and ferrous metal ingots for remelting (charge ingots), classified under code 7204 of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union.<\/p>\n

The Resolution shall enter into force ten days after the date of its official publication.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

On the establishment of the policy rate by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic<\/strong><\/p>\n

By resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the policy rate of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is set at 12 percent per annum.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>This resolution shall enter into force on August 25, 2026<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
