On July 7th, within the AmCham regional initiative in Central Asia, supported by the USAID FGI program, a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic, consisting of representatives from Park Hotel, Bakai Bank, and InterWorkExchange LLC, arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to participate in a series of events and strengthen business relations.

\nOn July 7th, the Digital Leadership Forum took place in Uzbekistan. The event brought together over 300 companies in the BPO and IT outsourcing sector, foreign organizations, entrepreneurs, and more than 20 speakers from around the world. Uzbekistan is one of the rapidly developing IT hubs in Central Asia, and this forum provided a unique opportunity to learn more about the growing market in this area.

\nDuring the forum, a session dedicated to the development of the venture ecosystem in Uzbekistan was held, which was divided into two panel discussions: “Further Perspectives on Digital Transformation in Uzbekistan and the Advantages of Creating an International Center” and “Increasing the Potential of Venture Capital in Uzbekistan and Foreign Countries within the Central Asian Context.”

\nThese panel discussions involved representatives from the venture industry, government officials, and potential investors. The main objective of the sessions was to conduct comprehensive discussions, identify opportunities, and stimulate economic growth in Uzbekistan.

\nOn the same day, within the business visit to Tashkent, AmCham Uzbekistan organized an evening reception for representatives from AmCham Kyrgyzstan and AmCham Tajikistan. This event provided an excellent opportunity to expand business contacts and network with AmCham members, contributing to the strengthening of ties between different associations in the region.

\nThe Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic, Dastan Imanaliev, together with the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan, Nilufar Bulbulshoeva, and the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, Oybek Khalilov, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
