On the second day of the business tour, November 22, 2022, the delegation from Kyrgyzstan met with Mr. Donovan Lazaro, Economic Development Director of City of Fremont, CA Government<\/span>. Mr. Donovan Lazaro oversees the facilitation of business investments in Fremont that lead to a stronger tax base to support City services and enhance the vibrancy of Fremont\u2019s commercial areas.<\/div>\n

On the same day, a visit to the Plug and Play Tech Center took place. Plug and Play Tech Center<\/span> is a global innovation platform, aiming to connect early-stage investors, startups, and the world\u2019s largest corporations together. Together with partners, they are creating a unique ecosystem designed to facilitate meaningful introductions, invest in startups, and bring together key stakeholders. The industries we focus on include Fintech, Insurtech, Brand & Retail, Mobility, Sustainability, Food & Beverage, Travel & Hospitality, Health & Wellness, and Supply Chain & Logistics.<\/div>\n

Daniel Delgado, Program Associate at Global Overseas Acceleration & Learning (GOAL) conducted a tour for delegates, where guests were introduced to the history of the company’s creation and its work, and were informed of all the advantages of working at the Plug and Play Tech Center.<\/div>\n

After the meeting, the delegation went to Stanford University<\/span> – a private research university in the United States, one of the most respected and rated in the United States and in the world. The university invests huge funds in the development of research activities, and also motivates students to create startups, some of which are funded by the university and its trustees.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
