During the period from February 14 to 17, 2022, the business delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic, consisting of representatives of the companies \u201cABDYSH-ATA\u201d LLC, The Navigator Group, LLC \u201cForester\u201d and \u201cSUT BULAK\u201d CJSC, as part of the regional initiative AmCham Regional AmCham Network, implemented with the support of the USAID FGI program, visited the annual \u201cGulfood Trade Show\u201d, held in Dubai (UAE).<\/p>\n

\u201cABDYSH-ATA\u201d is one of the leading manufacturers of non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks in the Kyrgyzstan and currently covers 90% of country\u2019s market. The product portfolio includes two main beer brands as TM Zhivoye and Nashe. The portfolio of non-alcoholic products is represented by such brands as fortified carbonated water, kvass, iced teas and soft drinks. The company is exporting its products to Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and China.<\/p>\n

The Navigator Group\u00a0is a group of companies, carrying out a number of versatile activities with a single goal of making the lives of urban residents brighter and more interesting! It is a dynamically developing enterprise, whose facilities provide services in various business areas.<\/p>\n

LLC \u201cForester\u201d is one of the largest distribution companies in Kyrgyzstan, which was one of the first in country to start supplying beer from Russia. Today, the main specialization of LLC \u201cForester\u201d is the distribution of brands of various categories (strong and low-alcohol drinks, juices, power engineers, body care products and personal care products).<\/p>\n

\u201cSUT BULAK\u201d CJSC has been producing high-quality cheese and various kinds of dairy products under the Dairy Spring brand for 25 years. \u201cSUT BULAK\u201d is part of the large Swiss cheese company \u201cSpielhofer Swisscheese SA\u201d. The company was formed as a result of the implementation of the intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Swiss Dairy Program. The result of the collective work of consultants from Switzerland and specialists from Kyrgyzstan was the unique cheese factory \u201cSUT BULAK\u201d, which has no analogues in the countries of Central Asia.<\/p>\n

The annual Gulfood Trade Show is the largest specialized exhibition in the world and the Persian Gulf and Middle East region. The Gulfood exhibition is particularly popular with visitors from the countries of the region, since more than 95% of food is imported to the Gulf countries, which, along with significant volumes of re-export to the UAE, which are estimated at $15.8 billion, makes the Gulfood exhibition an important event.

\nThe exhibition was attended by more than 5,000 companies from 120 countries and over 97,000 visitors from 185 countries.<\/p>\n

On February 14, the Networking Cocktail Event was held, during the event the business delegation of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic met with representatives of the delegations of AmCham Dubai, AmCham Uzbekistan, AmCham Tajikistan, and also shared the goals of the USAID Future Growth Initiative \u201cRegional AmCham Network\u201d project. Within the framework of this event, the parties discussed the possibility of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

On February 15, 2022 the meeting of business delegations of AmCham Kyrgyzstan and AmCham Uzbekistan took place with Abdilatif Jumabaev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Arab Emirates, Almazbek Esenaliev, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Arab Emirates, Elmira Bataeva, Deputy Head of Business partnership Department of the CCI KR, director of the National Pavilion of Kyrgyzstan and Sultanova Nurgul, director of the Alpha 360, in the National Pavilion of Kyrgyzstan at the World Exhibition EXPO Dubai.

\nDuring the meeting with representatives of delegations Abdilatif Jumabaev spoke about doing business and opening companies in the free economic zone of the UAE and about the distribution of products from Kyrgyzstan to Dubai.

\nIssues on strengthening of trade and economic relations of Kyrgyzstan with the United Arab Emirates were discussed at the meeting. There was an exchange of views on topical issues of international cooperation and the need to increase mutually beneficial relations in the field of trade and investment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
