Training on How to do business with US Government Contracting Authorities in Dushanbe, Tajikistan
On February 20 American Chamber of Commerce within the frameworks of Portal to CAS business project held a training on how to do business with US Government Contracting Authorities in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The main objectives of this event were information exchange with the USG contracting authorities’ representatives, overview of the bids process details and practical session on the main steps of the bids participation process.
80 representatives of 59 local companies participated in this training. Trainers Akylbek Joldoshov and Irina Shin introduced Portal to CAS project and provided overview of the procurement and bidding processes. Maj. Francisco J. Cordero and Maj. Laurijean Wright introduced CENTCOM mission and activities with CAS business and answered the questions of participants.
The next vendor training will take place in March 26, 2014 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
