Meeting with representatives of furniture companies under Portal to Kyrgyz Business Project
On November 27, 2012, American Chamber of Commerce held a meeting with representatives of furniture companies under Portal to Kyrgyz Business Project.
These companies showed interest to cooperate with United States Government’s contracting authorities. At the meeting, Portal’s staff explained businessmen how American procurement system works, how contract signing process goes, and how much time consideration of bids takes. They discussed also issues of producing and supply of furniture from Kyrgyzstan to Afghanistan, financing procedure of an order, pricing process when applying for bids.
