Meeting at the Ministry of Economy of KR, October 24, 2013
AmCham Executive Director Almaz Dushembiev held a meeting at the Ministry of Economy on October 24. Specialists of trade policy department and representatives of the AmCham member took part in the meeting. One of the AmCham members asked AmCham for assistance in simplifications of custom clearance of raw materials. The parties discussed the possibility of reducing custom duties and the abolition of control price level for raw materials. As the result they reached an agreement to develop the economic justification to amend the current custom legislation.
