On July 11 2018 AmCham Kyrgyz Republic held a business meeting with Ms. Zuzana Sejtkova, representative of the Czech Export Bank (CEB) and the Honorary Consul of Czech Republic in the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Marat Djanbaev.

Ms. Sejtkova shared in details about the opportunities for financing business projects from Kyrgyzstan through the CEB. She also reported that funding exports to Kyrgyzstan is seen as a venture with huge potential. In 2017 the bileteral trade made up 120% and reached its peak. The CEB set up a separate loan portfolio for work with Kyrgyzstan (about $150 million). To date, CEB has financed 14 projects in Kyrgyzstan for SMEs for an amount of 326 mln crones, or 17 mln USD. The Ambassador of Czech Republic in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan always notes that with appoinment of Mr. Marat Djanbaev as the Honorary Consul of Czech Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic, the bilateral trade relations between two countries took a new start and have been rapidly growing.
