AmCham is pleased to announce that the Bishkek International Women’s Club (IWC) raises funds through annual events such as the Valentine’s Ball, which will be held this year on February 14^th at the Hyatt Hotel.

IWC’s philanthropic activities can succeed only through the generous support of the Bishkek business community; therefore we hope that once again you will attend the Ball and donate a prize for the annual raffle or sponsor a table (100 USD) or the buffet (200 USD). In the past, prizes have included airline tickets, electronics, gift certificates for hotels, salons and restaurants, and works of art. Contributions are never too small or too large. Your sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will be acknowledged at the event.

IWC funds institutions that support the needs of disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Kyrgyzstan. At this time we want to help with heating systems and the provision of rechargeable lamps for times of electricity shortage. Most importantly, these institutions provide services and shelter to children, women and the elderly. The Ball and the annual raffle are vital ways that IWC raises the money needed to continue these charitable activities. You can be assured that your contributions will reach these worthy causes, since IWC consists only of volunteers and bears no overheads.
