As a result of the tragic events which occurred in the south of Kyrgyzstan, hundreds of innocent people have died in this terrible, unnecessary war. Thousands of people have been left without a roof over their head and the means for existence; the most vulnerable groups of the population: children, women, and elderly people, have been left neglected in hospitals and shelters.

Thereupon many companies the members of AmCham responded to our call for help to victims of South.

On June 16^th, AmCham member Minacorp Ltd provided free airplane Boeing SILT 76 for delivery of humanitarian cargo accompanied by military protection to our fellow citizens who suffered in southern regions. Thanks to the help of AmCham members: Minacorp Ltd, MKK Frontiers, KPMG, Travel Vision, Club Hotel Dostuk, Pragma Corporation, more than 7 million som’s worth of sanitary-hygienic sets, dressings, antibiotics, systems for intravenous injections, materials for medical institutions, all kinds of food provisions and personal hygiene goods were provided. Through the network of civil society monitoring group ЦААВ in close cooperation with youth association "Birimdik KG” in Osh, we were able to deliver humanitarian aid to the addresses of the following recipients:

1.      Regional TB Centre- received by Zhusupbay Aliyev;

2.      The Municipal Perinatal Center (TB Branch #2)- received by the Deputy Chief Medical Officer Mrs. Jumakieva;

3.      Regional Maternital Hospital (OMOKB)- received by Head Pharmacist Mr. Sherali Abdihalikov;

4.       Medical Center of the military unit 2011, received by Aigul Sultanova;

5.      Regional Child and Adolescent TB Hospital, received by Head. S. Department Razhapova;

6.      FAP, Aripzhan village administration Nariman (hotbed of violence), received by Emilbek Kozuev, passport AN 1569320;

7.      For citizens in the outbreak of violence (Ashgabat str, Stepnaya str, Nikitina str, Nizami str), received by Shahrukh Ibrahimov;

8.      Osh Interregional Children's Hospital, received by Bakhtiar Abdurakhmanov;

9.      Osh city home baby, received by Chief  Doctor Erkegul Zhumataeva;

10.  Mayor of Osh city, FCSD (Family and Children Support Department), received by Lira Sherieva;

11.  Osh regional mental health center, received by E. Kovaleva

On June 23rd humanitarian aid cargo provided by AmCham members was sent by overland transport to children's hospitals and orphanages in Osh.
