On Saturday, May 13^th AmCham held its monthly meeting. This time, the topic was “Doing Business with Manas Air Base,” the US Air Force’s forward base in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and home of the 376^th Expeditionary Air Wing as well as coalition forces from France and Spain. The meeting included a tour of the base (including the aircraft), a speech from Commander Colonel Kee, and lunch at the base’s chow hall where many AmCham members had their first-ever taste of treats such as nachos and American ice cream (everyone agreed this was the best part of the entire day).
