Mission of AmCham in the Kyrgyz Republic – fostering a favorable business climate for local and foreign companies by promoting members’ business and effective lobbying of their interests.

AmCham includes following components:

·   Organization of events for member companies, such as discussions, roundtables and business lunches. Since the decisions of public authorities have a direct impact on the business market in the country, AmCham provides an opportunity to advance member companies’ interests at state level. Such meetings are being held both in formal and informal ways. Specialized chamber committees formed from the representatives of member companies lobby corporate interests, as well as exchange information and experiences.

·   Providing information on prospective business projects for potential investors from foreign countries near and far. Local companies planning to cooperate with foreign companies might apply to AmCham for information on current similar-oriented businesses functioning in other countries. AmCham can request information about international AmCham members and other companies due to our successful global networking.

·   Support program of AmCham members includes holding PR campaigns and providing informational support. Yellow pages with detailed info about companies in the AmCham website are reviewed monthly by the more than 1000 potential investors. AmCham produces a quarterly magazine “AmCham-Kyrgyzstan” and a monthly newsletter, which provide information about the activities of AmCham and its members. Such editions promote the advancement of business of AmCham member-companies, providing advertising and success stories of companies.
